Zinc plating is a traditional, relatively low cost surface treatment, suitable for various different applications. Zinc plated surface is soft and ductile, it is used as a decorative finish with moderate corrosion resistance. Subsequent chromate coating improves the corrosion resistance of the zinc layer and gives the surface a typical silver or gold appearance. At Bomex, we have the ability to zinc plate parts of various sizes, our technologies include both rack and barrel plating.
